My Valentine's Day
Karina had inspired me to talk about my V-day. Got a present and even bought a present for the child, because he was acting VERY put out. Jeez.
As usual, I went overboard on my shopping and I don't regret buying my Boy 2 Dvds and a new Cd, but when I got one DVD?
Secret is out, I am a present counter. I want it all to add up close enough that I don't end up being like, "well, mine cost more" in my head. (Yes, I AM that bitchy) I told you all I had problems. I just hope that I don't end up counting in my head. He did buy me Grease and even offer to watch it with me. I need to learn not to go overboard. I am outta control.
That aside, the things he did for me kinda make up for it. I got up and walked the child to school and walked back home (feeling dizzy as hell the whole time) and got the phone call that the child had brought the unsigned Valentine's as opposed to the signed ones. And he was feeling rather "tragic" as the secretary informed me. So, I go back into the bedroom to give my BF the phone back (cause I was still planning on going to work) and tell him this, but it came out bad cause I didn't feel good.
So, I am opening the door when I hear a thump and he comes down the hall, trying to put his pants on and catch me before I leave, to ask me if I want him to take the Valentine's down to the school. So, I say no, because he should be able to sleep. I already kept him up half the night coughing.
I get about 10 steps away from the house and see a dog wandering the neighborhood. Having been almost bitten by the crazy ass dog down the street, I get a little freaked out and manage to make it back to my house without alerting the dog that I am sure is going to eat me. Where my wonderful boyfriend offers to go with me, cause I am such a fucking moron - No, not his words, only mine.
We get back to the house and he gets me some cereal while I lament my dizziness and wonder if I should just call in sick. Well, I did.
Then we stayed up and sat on my bed and watched the "The Price is Right", which I know far too much about, and he knows nothing about. Cause he is never up that early. Morning TV sucks. But, I do enjoy the price is right. Only, no one was smart enough to win anything. This one moron guessed $90 for an electric toothbrush. It was $18.00.
I coulda won a million times, but I don't live in California.
