I’m all sorts of squicked out...

I may have made that word up. I may have stole it. I don't even know anymore. I was mentioning to Ben how this guy online wanted my phone number, and even gave me his, and how you have to be goddamn careful on the internets with people you don't know. Ben suggested we give him the phone number of the girl who kept texting us like she knew us. Ha ha! Hilarious! I don't want to make him dislike me, I merely want him to back the fuck off. Meh. I'll just not log into that area for awhile, we'll see what happens. Maybe he'll be pushier, maybe he'll get the hint. That wasn't what squicked me out though. I picked a horror movie to watch last night..I went through the free stuff and found "Taboo" and I guess I thought..well, that should be interesting, it's called Taboo even. When they got into the incest part, I just kind of hoped everyone would die in the end. There was NO good guy. Just a bunch of weirdos and brother/sister sex. I don't know...

WOOT! I'm caught up! I rock. Probably for about ten seconds. Meh. ------------------------------------------------------- Monday, June 16th Title: Attitude I'm full of it today. I'm trying to realize that it's all in the way I take it, but I'm kind of pissed. Situation: My boss appeared the be throwing around over time. Something that would be fantastic right about now..no kid to be neglecting, extra money for my birthday, yada yada. So I volunteered to work the 6th of July. The next week the over time became, "oh you can have a three day weekend instead." =( I just screwed myself into working two weekends in July now. And I just worked two weekends a month for the past 3 months beside that. =( At least 2 of those months are because I volunteered myself for it. Am I stupid or what? Pretty much. I'm doing my best to remember that it's not all about the money. But dammit! I also volunteered to work the 4th, and while it's time and a half for the ...

I'm doing as many as I can while Ben is occupied with dinner. Maybe I'll catch up, maybe not. I didn't realize I was THIS far behind. =( -------------------------------------------------------- Monday, June 9th Title: Do you really expect anything less than randomness from me? At least this one will be quick and probably not make your head hurt. 1. I've bribed my kid. I told him if he can keep his tooth together for a YEAR, I will buy him a scooter. I'm not even kidding. If bribing will work, I'm all for it. Something has to make me less freaked out about this shit. Joking about it should help. 2. I just now felt a hair tickle my hand and I immediately thought, SPIDER! Except I was going to the bathroom and if spiders are coming out of my pants, I have much bigger problems then my kid's tooth falling off. 3. I just went looking for any old blogspot picture blog I made up having to do with the chest area, and sadly, I can not find it anywhere. You suck blogsp...

That movie wrecked me..

From Friday as well... ------------------------------------------------------------ All right, so I got the damn last 15 minutes of the movie to work and I must admit that my mind is blown. I ended up with the last 15 minutes to watch long enough (while it was being stupid!) that I started analyzing. Turns out, it was not as I thought at all. That movie screwed my head up. Let's just say that it'll stay with me, as most of those types of movies do. When I did not know that last 15 minutes, I was all trying to get to the meaning while waiting for the cable to work. I'd lumped it in with "Memnoch the Devil" which I JUST finished tonight. Now I can move on. But I was all set on the forgiveness path that it seemed the book and now this movie would follow. I do not have enough forgiveness. I just can't yet. I hope it's a young thing. I hope I'll be more forgiving as I age, but I promise nothing as I'm going such a poor job of it now. The preferred post ...

Stupid ass Comcast

Guess what? I'm forgetting to cross post again. I suck. This was from last Friday. --------------------------------------------- I bought "One Missed Call", I figured it would be a good distraction while the boys are gone. I lost it right around the child abuse part. I never handle those movies well. More in my preferred blog later. Which you can read, probably, just ask. I don't want to include people who don't want to know how goddamn out there I am. I'm not trying to exclude people, I just don't want to freak them out. Um. Yeah. So I was watching and I get to the last fucking half hour and the goddamn OnDemand fails! I'm so irritated right now. BOO CABLE! BOO! You suck. You better work after I unplug your ass. If I don't get to see the last half hour, someone is going to be unhappy, and I will make sure that I share that unhappiness. FUCK!

YAY!

Originally posted to MySpace on Friday, April 18th _________________________________________________________________________ The dentist visit went well. The dentist seemed amused by Derek which is good. He does say funny things. Like on the bus he said Oh noes! today. That may be my influence. The kid is very ready to go to Tammi's. He's all about the skating tonight. I've decided to wear my hoodie and be a dork with an Oregon hoodie, so that I don't freeze tonight. I'm so totally sucked into "Queen of the Damned" on USA right now. Which is a sucky movie. Though I'm kind of enjoying this stage scene for all it's blurry-ness to indicate how fast vampires move. Cause I know this means that Akasha is coming, and the exploding into flames shall begin now. That's kind of a cool special effect, and I do like Aaliyah. Plus, I think Jonathan Davis does the singing, at least it sounds like him and I saw him in a bit part. I'm just irritated that ...

Why would I do that?

My night out was canceled, as Jenn did not feel well. It's actually worked out for me as I sat on the couch after the boys left and fell asleep for about an hour. Woke up with a nasty headache, which 4 ibuprofen have not really helped. That's what I get for not drinking coffee in the morning, I guess. We'll hope I can get through this blog entry, as the other night a headache turned into something much worse. I don't know that I would call it a migraine, but it was damn close. So I went to bed early and woke up fine. Does it make sense? Not really. I was certain I'd wake up with the same damn headache, but I didn't, so I guess the solution is bed for many hours. Hurray. I love getting older. So I woke up, drank coffee, watched "Ed Gein"...it would appear to be serial killer month On Demand. Hurray for me, right? Except totally not, cause I needed to take a shower later. The shower is where I feel most vulnerable, especially when no one else is in the h...

A Review Of "1408"

After the seriousness of my post earlier and how I'm feeling particularly sensitive and sure that someone somewhere is reading that blog and thinking...god, what an idiot, it's time for a fluff blog. My favorite. The ones where I admit no weaknesses. How freaked out am I that that last blog is going to go wrong? That someone is going to decide that I'm dumb? Or worse yet, that someone will read it and not even care. Meh. That's all up to other people huh? They'll feel like they want to feel, the same as I will. OK, so ENOUGH of the seriousness dammit! > (WARNING - SPOILERS) I've been dying to watch 1408 since I saw trailers. I didn't quite get through it while trying to re-read it beforehand (I don't spend enough time at the library and I need to not buy books! LOL) so I didn't quite remember it all, but I'm pretty sure that in the book the guy dies. If they are even that clear, it may just be open ended, but at the end of the movie I kept ex...

You Can Do It! You’re Gonna Do It!

I've been working since Sunday, and I am SO ready for the weekend. I even have plans Friday. And the whole day off to be lazy and get ready to go out. Tammi and Jenn and I are going for sushis, and then possible coffees, and maybe even dessert! The height of decadence! And I deserve it! LOL. Today is officially my Thursday and I've been working in Tara's room which means little distractions from others, and it's not any sort of big deal that I am lunching at "my" desk today. Cause it's not really my desk and no one can be worried that I'm supposed to be working, as I am totally isolated. I like the isolation occasionally, I know it can drive Tara crazy and I could see that. If I was FORCED to do it every day, I'd probably get sick of it too. Anyhow. YAY! I'm so happy that I'm almost at the end of my week. It's been crazy, late one day, early the next. Tomorrow I can somewhat sleep in and then come in and get check run done. Check run da...

Tired

Well, I'm home. It's almost deathly quiet. If I knew when the boys would be back, I'd be tempted to pay for a pay per view horror flick, but if the kid gets back halfway through, I wouldn't be able to watch the ending. Cause I'm crazy like that and I restrict what the kid sees on TV. He'd like to watch a horror movie, but it's going to be awhile before I'll let him. He tends to have weird dreams (at least I passed something on to him) already, I'm not going to make them worse. I have to vent a little here. I've asked and asked Jake not to let Derek watch PG13 movies. Even if they don't seem scary or strange to us, they are rated that way for a reason. Yes, some really freaking cool movies are PG13. He'll get there in time and see them then. Or other cool, newer movies. I don't believe he'll look back on being 9 and think, "jeez, why couldn't my mom ever let me watch stuff that was too mature for me?" Maybe he will. B...

Nine, Ten, Never sleep again.

The boys aren't back yet, so you get more of my inanity. They are having a grand time and called to let me know they weren't catching the bus home so they will be home later. Hoping to draw them home, much as the bus comes when you finally decide you can smoke a cigarette, I put on a horror movie. Since Ben hates them so much, I figure they'll be home any time now. In any case, I scanned all my horror movies, and I think I need more. The Grudge, well, it might be too much right now, and the rest sounded stupid. So I went for classic horror, and picked out a Nightmare on Elm Street one. I think paying for the full set was very smart of me. I thought about watching number 2, briefly, but then realized that I would be filled with loathing about ten minutes into it. Though I do like the bus scene. That's a freaky dream. 5 is rather cheesy, 6 is ok, New Nightmare is freaky, but I wanted something different than that. Number 1? Awesome and Johnny Depp to boot. But I've se...

Ho Hum

It's been a rather weird week for me. I worked Sunday, so I'm off today, and that makes the week go by faster, but still. People have been in the shittiest moods, and I try and dodge them, but it doesn't always work, so then I just get aggravated. I've avoided saying anything about this, but stupid whiny girl's last day is TODAY. Yesterday was the last day I EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH HER. I say that I've been avoiding talking about it, cause 3 weeks ago she gave her two week notice and then all of the sudden that turned into, oh, I can stay another week. I was waiting for her to stay another damn week, but so far it sounds like she is REALLY LEAVING THIS TIME. I know that it'll probably just end up getting me some other co-worker who I don't particularly like. It would seem that I always have to have someone that I don't like. So, anyhow. That's really upped my day. Also, some other little things. I ran for the door and MADE it, just barely. And I g...

The Grudge

This damn movie is THE scariest fucking movie that I have seen all year. This movie fucked with me like The Ring did. I still have it on repeat in my head. At least a few choice scenes. Like the bed covers or the damn staircase. Every time I am in the shower now, I am convinced I am gonna open my eyes and see her one damn eye looking at me, behind all her hair. Or that damn scary little boy. My boyfriend keeps making the noise that she made, and I swear I heard a cat last night. For those who have seen this movie, you know what I am talking about. I feel this need to watch the scary movies because I can, but damn, every so often one comes along that is scary as hell to me. And I like these movies so much that they get stuck in my head on repeat. I watched the movie Friday night with some drinks, and I woke up at one point during the night when it was pitch dark and I was CONVINCED that those damn ghosts were on my bedroom. So, I cuddled a little closer to the BF and hoped to hell that ...
