Isn't it Ironic?
I've become the talker at work. Ok, not directly, instead, what I've become is the person who doesn't have a lunch buddy. I'm just not that forthright with the people I work with I guess. I see Brandy go out on lunch with her new friend (I even think it's a new roommate) and Tara goes with Laura from LP a bunch. It seems lately, that if it's not Laura, it's one of the LP boys. Dammit! I am cooler than boys. My boss goes to lunch with her friends, and the only people who don't seem to have their pairing off lunch buddy is me and the talker. When did I get into her league? How did this happen? Why doesn't anyone I know work in the same area so that I could have lunch with someone. Most of the time, I am fine by myself, but sometimes, I just want to do more at lunch than sit around and read a book. By myself, downstairs. If I sat in the breakroom, I might get some conversation, but then I have to deal with the people who are trying to sleep, or someone ...
