Guess who's back?

I am almost glad to be back. My whole vacation consisted of me being an accident waiting to happen and being way too emotional over the whole thing.

Wednesday, my first day off, Ben tells me that Derek has been coughing very badly and that he should prolly go to the doctor. I hate taking him to the doctor for a cough, I usually get them telling me he is fine and giving me one of those attitudes, like I am crazy. He appeared to be PERFECTLY fine in all other ways. Not extra sleepy, jumping around like a maniac, and all the things boys do. But every so often, he would have a coughing fit and it would seem like he would never stop. After the boy's pronouncement, I think about all of this and that the kid's doctor is out on River Road (cause I am dumb, I don't think I could get any farther away) and I started crying. Why? Cause I am a dumb ass and I was too emotional. So, I call the doctor and make an appt for Thursday and too make it worse, I decide, might as well get it over with. So I made an appt at 11 am. Thought I would have to leave the house at 9:30 am, so I get up at 7 am. The doctor said he sounded like he might be getting (not yet though) a sinus infection. So, she gives Derek some Zyrtec (sp?) and a prescription for antibiotics, in case he gets worse.

Now, it is nice not to have to go back, but how am I supposed to know if it becomes a sinus infection? She said something about gunk in the eyes and that being a sign, but I don't want to put the kid on antibiotics if he doesn't need to be. Then we decided to get out for breakfast, which was nice.

Then it was out to the store for fixings for barbecue. Spent too much money there, because I am outta control with the money. Got all the stuff for barbecue and Easter, so at least I was done. Had a fairly easy night after all that.

This could go on for hours, so I am gonna break my posts up. I will fill you in on the rest soon.
