Too lazy...

For my song of the day.

I had a REALLY good night last night. I got to see Jenn and Orion was cute as can be. Karina came over later, she played SCRABBLE with me and Ariel.

And I WON! I almost never win. :)

Ariel also brought me cheese! Havarti, something new, and DAMN good. All creamy and sharp. And Karina brought sushis.

Spicy sushi. It was YUMMY.

I got the house back to being sewi-clean. Thank god for paper plates and plastic cups. It was SUPER easy to clean it up. Derek was all set by the time Jake got here. They left around 1 or 1:30. I couldn't remember if I had actually SAID Happy Birthday today. It IS his birthday, after all. I had also neglected to mention to Jake that I hadn't fed him lunch. I had visions of him starving and remember FOREVER about how I didn't say Happy Birthday that ONE birthday and how I was just a HORRIBLE mom.

So, I called when I knew they would be in Portland and explained and Jake was like...yeah, I asked him and he said he was hungry, so we stopped for lunch. :) BIG relief. And I got to say Happy Birthday. So, I feel better.

Yes, seaweed. And crab...and like a crab salad filling.
It was spicy and yummy.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Apparently the only people who leave them are going to form snap judgements of me based on how I look, and since I can't go and read their blog or anything, it really doesn't seem far, since I can't even try to read their stuff and see if they are reasonable people. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
