No Imagination?
I say this A LOT.
But, I really am prone to flights of fancy. Like….If I haven't heard from someone in days, they must be dead. Or they hate me. Because of course, it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with them being busy.
Or since the check my step mom sent to Derek had what I would guess is her maiden name on it, they MUST be getting divorced is my first thought.
My second? Why couldn't this have happened when I had to deal with her. I don't really see her sending money this way if she wasn't obligated. My third thought? My dad's dead and she doesn't want me to know, so that I can't inherit whatever he might have had.
Again? This is just crazy talk. Even IF my dad was dead, he wouldn't leave anything to me. He would leave it to her. She was his family. But things like this freak me out. Cause I wouldn't know. Maybe it is more the not knowing anything about my family from way over here. I'm sure none of them would want to "burden" me with bad news.
