I didn't get any farther than the front page. I stopped reading it when I read that she thought it was the same guy who was impersonating the cop. (Campus is a SCARY ass place to be lately. I had NO IDEA. If this shit happened when I was 15 and hanging out on campus, I'm just glad I missed it. I have at times, SLEPT OUTSIDE. I can't imagine what I woulda done had someone came upon me.)

Because right after that it says that the Eugene Police DON'T THINK IT'S CONNECTED IN ANY WAY.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just the first step to discounting ANYTHING she says. Isn't this WHY some people don't report these acts? Cause they are afraid they won't be believed?

Why does this shit actually have to be PRINTED in the news?

If it IS the same guy, he's prolly thinking...oh good, they don't think it was me, so I'm safe.

And I can only HOPE that that is the case. They are baiting him and hoping he gets careless.

How am I supposed to raise a child safely in this world? How am I supposed to EVER feel safe when he is outta site and especially out and about on his own?

I'm fucking scared. And totally pissed. This is bullcrap.

Well, whether the rapes are related or not is kind of a moot point except it would be easier to catch one guy instead of two, but the brutal fact is, there are probably more than two rapists in Eugene.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
