Certifiable??

I keep seeing this ad in the Eugene Weekly.

An ad for egg donors.

6 weeks, 8 - 10 visits. $4000.00.

I can't even begin to dream about earning $4000.00 in six weeks.

It's totally crazy of me to even think of such things. But DAMN, that is more than I get for tax returns.

I don't know that I qualify as healthy, I am in the age range.
Sometimes smoker, extra poundage.

But my kid is like skeletal thin. His dad was like that to. Maybe, maybe 130 lbs. It used to piss him off how he could eat and eat and never gain weight.

Yeah, it pissed me off too. That's crap!

I thought Derek would be in the middle. But he definitely leans towards his dad's side there.

Anyhow, I just keep thinking about it. I don't quite have the courage to call the number. The website that they provides doesn't really say much at all about what happens, or what they consider healthy.

It's crazy of me, I know.

I looked into it once, long ago. You have to have aspotless family medical history, my family's got every genetically affected disease in the book but cancer. Diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and depression. No freakin cancer though. I, like my grandma, will probably die of diabetes long before smoking gets to me.

I have cancer in my family. Only my grandma, as far as I know. I don't know alot, so that would prolly throw me outta the running.

I have to find the number, and of course, now I can't. Going to google and typing in Oregon Egg Donors got a BUNCH of sites though.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Apparently the only people who leave them are going to form snap judgements of me based on how I look, and since I can't go and read their blog or anything, it really doesn't seem far, since I can't even try to read their stuff and see if they are reasonable people. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
