Good idea?

I found a cool poster yesterday. (I think it's cool, I have no idea, but it has a guitar on it.)

I bought it for 2 DOLLARS. It was 10.

I figure I'll bring it home and let Ben put it on a wall.

Anyone think that will make him feel more comfortable at my house and come closer to making it OUR house?

I think it's a cute idea.

So, how does it actually work now, with him not living there? I mean, how "not" there is he? Is it just a matter of the address change? Does he keep a toothbrush & razor there? What would he say if you asked him to tell you why he is reluctant to make it complete and officially change his address?

What if you suggested that instead of him moving in, the three of you found a new place together?

Am I too full of questions?

I moved in with HusbandMan before we got married. It's been hard because he and Beanpole had already been here long enough for "territory disputes" to arise when my kids & I moved in. I would much rather have a neutral place he and I choose together.

Probably ain't gonna happen for a year or so.

Sigh...

I had a really long explanatory comment here, but it didn't work or something. So, instead, I shall try to shorten it.

Yes, there is a razor and a toothbrush here.

No, he doesn't get mail here.

I still get some assistance through Section 8, they take about a third of the total income of the house and base my rent on that.

So, if he moves in, most likely the rent will go up. It would be hard to give up that extra money.

I think that might be a deterrent.

He helped me move into my home and is prolly here more than I am. So, I feel that we have some equality in the situation.

I can be all like....Hey, this is my house and my stereo. Dammit! But I think I could work with it if I had someone I lived with again.

I don't know, it's been awhile since I've lived with anyone. And they all drove me fucking crazy.

(Ok, well that wasn't short at all)

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Apparently the only people who leave them are going to form snap judgements of me based on how I look, and since I can't go and read their blog or anything, it really doesn't seem far, since I can't even try to read their stuff and see if they are reasonable people. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
