Here's a happy thought.

I just had a baby in my arms. A 4 month old.

Damn, they are cute.

Whoever thought toothless and bald was cute?

She is so tiny and can't talk.

If only they stayed babies.

I never really minded diapers.

I hear that Ariel is coming over on the 4th, so at least you got that much. :)
She mentioned I should ask if you would mind my horning in.

I don't know that I will feel up to coming out that far when I have to work the next day.

So, I guess this is my way of asking, but also my disclaimer that I might not go anywhere and just sit on my ass.

Yeah, that's kinda my problem too. They don't pay us until the 6th, cause they are stupid and my last check was the rent check.

The majority of that check goes to rent. Damn timing!

True, I am bad at saving money though. Since I've stopped buying cigarettes, I've given myself some sort of license to buy coffee whenever I want. It's crazy.

We used to get paid every other Friday, but they changed it so save two pay periods, that seem to save them a ton of money.

Or so they say.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
