Eat it
I get to have Lasagna for dinner tonight. Yummy homemade lasagna is really the best stuff on earth. We use smoked sausage, cut into slices in place of ground meat and all that cheese. I am so very excited about it. First of all, it’s easily a two-nighter meal. Secondly, I have a kick-ass recipe so that I don’t have to cook the noodles first. Cause I always fuck those noodles up. You do have to leave it over-night in the fridge, before cooking, but that is fine with me.
All the work done, nothing left but to preheat and pop it in the oven for about an hour.
That is what is keeping me going after spending 10 FUCKING minutes on the phone with a certain company’s accounting department. My boss, quite rightfully, does not want to pay back $500.00 on a return that they didn’t give us full credit for. I spent 10 minutes explaining this to 2 different people. One of whom assured me almost a month ago that she would look into it.
It’s like she thought by having someone else call and talk to a different person than me, we would just fix it. What I got was….oh, we gave full credit, it was a price difference. When I pointed out that they only gave credit for 108, not 136 and that the price difference was really only the royalty fee that they credit differently, it became, oh let me talk to T, she is right here. Then I explained how I had talked to T and faxed her 20 PAGES of info last month on the 13th, she said, oh, let me put her on, she is right here.
After being on hold for about 3 minutes…..right here, my ass, T comes on and says, oh yes, I explained this to “her”(think she meant me, but whatever) that if she could give me this info, I would fix it. Yeah, you did, and yeah, I sent you the info. This is the same company who kept calling last time and starting completely at the beginning very time. When I would explain that I sent the fax two weeks ago, she would say…oh, it hasn’t been logged in yet…..WTF! This is a LARGE company too. One most of you would recognize, so how do they get away with these practices.
She finally understands that I sent everything she wanted..LAST MONTH, and says she is going to go over it and they will call me back with any problems. I wasn’t gone for more than 10 minutes, I come back to my desk and there is a note saying she called. I e-mailed her for fear of screaming on the phone at her. I am MORE determined then EVER to get this done myself without having to ask the boss to call. I am kinda impressed with how firm I was, seeing as how I don’t do conflict well. I was calm and rational, if a little annoyed.
Well enough outta me about work, huh? I should get back to doing some. *grin*
