Weekends are different

I don't really listen to much music over the weekend. It just doesn't happen.

Consequently, I have no songs of the day for y'all.

I'm sure it's breaking your heart.

I ain't got much to share y'all. It's been a pretty run of the mill weekend. Coffee was fun. Everything else is pretty normal around here.

We did watch Dracula last night. Keanu as an 18th century guy with the accent? Kinda unbelievable. I haven't watched it in forever. I'd forgotten Anthony Hopkins was in it.

I hope everyone else's weekend was as lazy as possible.

Next week is gonna be crazy. It's rush. I go in at 7:30 tomorrow, then go in at 11:00, and then get off at eight. That's gonna suck. I have Wednesday off, but I need to go and sit at Legal Aid for as long as it takes to see what I need to do, money-wise. I have to work Saturday, in exchange. That'll suck. I need a vacation, people. I keep thinking, wait until March and you might actually get close to a week. I can't BELIEVE how long it takes to rack up vacation days.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Apparently the only people who leave them are going to form snap judgements of me based on how I look, and since I can't go and read their blog or anything, it really doesn't seem far, since I can't even try to read their stuff and see if they are reasonable people. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
