You say, don't fear your dreams.

ANOTHER bad dream last night.
I find they come with more frequency lately. I don't know if it's the change in
the weather, Derek going back to school, or the things my mind chooses to dwell
on lately.
Either way, I've obviously been worrying a little too much.
Or it wouldn't throw itself into my dreams like that.
Last night, I dreamt that the landlord sent Section 8 out to talk to me and
well...they never DID say I was going to be kicked out, but whenever I would try
and just get them to say it, they would give me a sympathetic look and not tell
me.
I kept trying though..I kept saying things like....well, I thought it was all
going great, but obviously it's not, cause you guys are here.
Nothing I said worked and they never actually SAID I was gonna have to move, but
I could tell.

I tried explaining to them that I had no idea what they were talking about, and
that she often would say one thing to me, and then turn around and make it a
problem. =(
They mentioned the front yard and I felt like..HERE IS MY CHANCE TO SAVE MYSELF,
so I rushed to the window to show them that it looked GREAT!
Instead, all the weeds we spent so much time on had miraculously sprang back up
and you couldn't even see the nice, new bark o mulch.
=S

I mean..I KNOW weeds pop up quickly, but this was ludicrous.
Part of it is most likely because there is grass coming up through the mulch and
I'm not sure if should be pulling it or what. I know that it doesn't LOOK right,
but...well. Obviously it's not dead. And it'll just come back.
I should just email her and ask if I should pull any and all grass that comes
up.

In the dream, I started asking Ben if we could go live with his dad, cause I
didn't know what I was gonna do. It was obviously something he didn't want to
do..so I invented a new house? In my head anyhow. A bigger house with a big
downstairs....I've seen the exact same place in dreams before and I lived
there..someone else's house, but a big enough basement that it ALMOST felt like
my own.
And I was talking it up to him. I was like...well, there is a room with a door
down there for Derek's bedroom and we could just have our bed out in front of
the TV, and it would be almost like having our own place.

I woke up before I could tell if I'd persuaded him to talk to his dad.

And the dream was so REAL that I woke up thinking...jesus, I gotta find a new
place to live.
Then you realize, and I was relieved, but worried that so many of my dreams that
turn bad are revolving around my landlord. I had one a few weeks ago, where she
came into my house and was like...you CAN'T have anything on the walls! and
pulled it all down.

Perhaps I'm feeling stifled?
I did, at one point, live in a basement, so maybe that's where I keep getting
this basement idea from.
It's just strange, and I'd ALMOST prefer getting chased by something, at least
in those dreams my brain has got to the point where I think..this can't REALLY
be happening, so I just worry about making it through the dream and I realize
that it is only a dream and it won't matter when I wake up.
Besides hanging around in my mind, freaking me out. =S

just sounds like you've been stressed, and maybe worried about the way things have, or are going to change.

Perpetually. Always worried about things changing. Often, it doesn't feel like a good thing. =S
Only a sad thing.
