Bugs!
Wednesday I had to climb under my desk and re-hook the cable for the Ipod.
Afterwards my knee was red and hot. I figured I'd given myself a bit of rug burn.
By Thursday night, after being rubbed on by pants all day, my leg looked like this.
The bite on the top is the bigger one. They melded into a HUGE bite and I truly wanted to CLAW my leg off, cause DAMN, it was ITCHY. Pissed me off. I don't have any clue what got me. Last night, it looked like this.
Which is much better. Just typing about it is making it itch, but I SHALL NOT. I have more willpower than that.
If only you could've saw me at work Friday FRANTICALLY rubbing my leg against the other leg, in an effort to itch.
I'd also got another bite, on my arm, just coincidentally at the same FUCKING time, I guess.
Yes, that IS Ben in the background, totally NOT caring that I was bit by three different damn bugs at once, and MAYBE it was a conspiracy. Perhaps they will ALL come after me shortly. I notice that bees like me the most and that I am sure, has NOTHING to do with the fact that I usually have one some sweet body spray.
Nothing, I assure you. Apparently, I taste good and bugs would like to eat me.
Friday night, Ben noticed that there was something CLINGING to our screen door. Numerous shots later, we've each got our favorite. I'll show you mine first, cause OBVIOUSLY, it is the BEST one.
Plus, you can see it's eye and it's eye is PURPLE. Which is freaky.
Ok, so MAYBE it's harder to see that it's eye is purple from here. But you can tell on the camera.
This was Ben's favorite, it was the last one. He thought he'd gotten it perfect. I disagree, you can't see that much damn detail. The screen makes it a little disorienting.
Also, last night, Jesse found a snake in the yard, and I didn't get a picture, because I wasn't going anywhere near that fucking thing.
Snakes and I do NOT get along. I made him let it go into the neighbor's yard. I know Snakes aren't bugs, but I lump them into the same category of squickiness. Not grass hoppers, I suppose. They aren't really scary. They just jump a lot. Good for them.
