Vacation
I've been doing my best not to do anything at all.
Just things that I want to do.
Wednesday I had to shop for Valentine's Day, and I win, cause Ben likes the 3 Disc "Hot Fuzz" set that I found. Not what I wanted, but I didn't order on-line soon enough. I should be smarter than that.
Other things are already bought for his birthday/our "anniversary", cause I will not let this happen again.
It's been 7 years, and I keep waiting to be more annoyed at him, to dislike him more. That's the way it seemed to work with any other boyfriend that lasted awhile...wait that was only Jake. Not even two years there. I was either some sort of commitment-phobe, or else not ready to believe that he'd be around for me. Not ready to trust? I don't know. I can't imagine Ben not being around. We hung out for years and years and years before we ever went towards relationship.
We used to flirt a lot, but that was all.
I've always been a flirt. I try not to now. I know better. It makes other people feel like crap. I can only imagine that Jake didn't like it either. I never meant anything though, with all the flirting.
Um, Thursday..
We went for breakfast at Shari's, and it was yummy. I didn't eat anything for most of the rest of the day, breakfast was so big. And it was Valentine's day, and all were happy.
Friday,
I made Ben go to the Sushi Station with me. =) I got my favorite sushis for breakfast/lunch, and Ben even liked the Yakisoba. I was super worried that he would hate everything there, but he liked it. Wasn't much for the gyoza though. I <3 them.
Today?
Today I am supposed to be coffeeing with Tammi, but I was hoping to leave a little early instead of always hanging out at night, and wrecking people's dinner schedule, so I am suggesting we go in the afternoon. Have not gotten a hold of her yet though, so we'll see. Tammi, are you reading this? LOL.
I may have to call a person *gasp*.
All in all, it's been a weird vacation. Frank dying, Doing what I like on vacation, People contacting me quite out of the blue.
Maybe it's going to be a better March than it was a February?
