"After all, tomorrow is another day!"
Of work, that is. Meh.
I'm so ready for this week to be over, but tomorrow should be fine anyhow. I mean, we only have 4 people here in the department, I get to be in the room I love, stressing out over getting everything done. Heh.
I'm better than I was two days ago. Although today I found out that nestle crunches give me heartburn. =(
I'm a sad panda, indeed.
In other, not entirely about me news, Ariel has 4 weeks. A baby! I get to see a baby and play with one that I feel like I can take over.
Ariel is the closest thing I have to a sister out here, so I'm gonna be like..an imaginary aunt. =)
Jenn and I have a sushi date for Oct. 10th and I don't feel like it's going to get here fast enough, but I shall have to have some patience. It will be hard.
Derek has a doctor's appt on Monday. I was trying to get a check up coinciding with it, but no such luck. The boy has a circular black spot on his foot. He is worried about it, and why shouldn't he be, he's my kid!
But I am less worried about it, it's been the same shape, same color, and not hurting for the last part of the summer. We're only going to appease the boy's mind.
I wished for a cigarette today while waiting for the bus to transfer over. I should have probably just walked home and I would have been tempted had I been able to afford coffee at Dutch that I couldn't take on the bus anyhow. Instead I waited for ten minutes so that I could get home faster than walking. I'm lazy y'all.
I miss my friends. I think I'm feeling social again. But still with money being tight it's just not feasible to go out as much as I'd like. And I can't even attempt to go into a bar until I get my ID renewed. Or if it's the Duck, cause I don't think they would card me.
OOOH! I have "The Eye" to watch tonight, so I shall be done with this now and on to movie watching or I WOULD if the bf had not absconded with the mail key. GRR. "Ben" is trying out Netflix, since I already have. I keep adding movies to the queue and he even had me pick out the password so I can get in there. lol!
A full month of free movies. Anyone have suggestions as to what is awesome? I can get away with horror movies when the boys are out of the house, though that's less and less often lately as they start the game earlier on Fridays now and don't so Saturdays at all. I got used to my me-time, adjusting back should be fun.
Otherwise? All Ben and I agree on is stupid comedy. We rented Epic movie and got about ten seconds into it before I realized that we'd already seen it before. We forgot. That's the kind of stupid movie we like.
Also, my kid is a math genius. Ok, maybe not genius, but he got a math award.
Obviously, he's my kid, and Ben is pretty much a math whiz. I just add quickly.
I'm flush with pride.
And if a certain llama at work tells me one more time that I'm not doing something right when next month marks my 6 year anniversary, I'm gonna lose my freaking mind!
No movie. Dammit. I was looking forward to popping it in, and now I must wait for Ben. That means he's going to HAVE to watch it or at least hear it, so I suppose that's his punishment.
