I was just wondering, if you'd come along, hold up my head when my head won't hold on. I'll do the same, if the same's what you want.

If not I'll go.

I'm semi-angsty today. The thing is that nothing really bad happened to me.
Maybe it's just work. Maybe it's having to get up and get ready. Maybe I should get up a couple of hours earlier than I need to, so that I can just lay around for awhile?
I don't know.
In about 20 minutes, I'll be down to less than 100 songs not listened to in my Itunes. I don't think you all really understand. I've gotten really damn competitive about the damn iPod stuff. First it was that Ben had more music than me. I have at least 200 more artists than he does at this point, and even a whole day's worth of music more.
See, cause he had to needle me. Not meanly, just the regular crap we give each other.
He was like..well, I have more music.
I BEAT him at that. I WON.
And I was bragging (my downfall) and he was like..sure, but you have about 900 songs you haven't even listened to in your library.
Not that I haven't ever listened to them, just not in Itunes, apparently.
So, I made MY OWN PLAYLIST (cause I is smart) and had it pick 100 non-played songs each day. I've made it my mission to listen to that playlist as much as possible. Most days I can get through it, but not always.

Now I have to add more music. I don't even have half of my burned CDs in yet. All of the ones on my spinning rack (which makes for 144 CDs), but not everything from my box. I know, cause sometimes I'm like....I LOVE that song.
WHERE is that song?
And the truth is, I have no idea. But what I do know is that Itunes helps me to know what is on them. I listen, label, and then put a disc number on it. It's like my own personal music library. Not that I'll need to find it when I can just put it on my iPod. The important thing is that the option is THERE.
No, I'm not really obsessive compulsive.
Except when I am.

Now that I'm WINNING at the Itunes war, Ben is like...whatever, like it doesn't even really matter! Of course it does! *smirk*

I'm angsty for a bunch of different reasons though. Reasons that I'm not even sure I should go into. So I won't. I just now decided. I'll shove it down, and in a couple of years, I can have an ulcer. Which you will all get to hear about. Aren't you excited already? *smirk*

I remember this song about peer pressure from this adolescent video they made us watch in 7th grade.

it was about how succumbing to peer pressure caused anxiety, and how to overcome and be yourself so you don't end up wildly depressed.

the song still makes me want to slit my wrists.

which is completely unrelated to your post :)

Not completely unrelated. I guess I'm kind of being dragged into "pressure" to make my iTunes perfect.

Even if it's pressure of my own.

What a crappy sounding song though.
I don't think I've ever heard it. Unless it was something about "Free to be you and me".
