Tonight Saturday we're gonna party like it's 1999 Mina's birthday
(that's close to a song lyric.)
So I figured I would share some of my favorite pictures with you guys. Cause I am crazy camera lady. Anyhow, I hope I got enough that some of them were fantastic. I'm quite the amatuer picture taker, but I sure have fun.
It was a good time. We all gabbed, caught up, some of us napped (and I like that people are comfortable enough in my house to nap, except Derek RUINED that comfortableness by tickling Cruz's feet. Derek is so unafraid of everything, but I think that Cruz is gonna end up getting him back. If I were Derek, I'd be more worried than he was. The funny thing is that about 5 seconds before Derek woke him up, Natalli was like...oh you shouldn't do that, he will be mad.
The kids ran through the house for awhile, until it was lunch and cake time. Then they watched part of a movie and we still just gabbed. I really like just sitting around my coffee table and talking with people.
So my favorites of the party pictures were:
Don't they always look so put together and pretty at the beginning? I didn't put her hair up tight enough and so it didn't last long. I only know how to do my own, or boy hair *cries*.
Derek is so WHITE. The flash just pops it right out. He's such a ham.
I really like this picture, Cruz helped here too. When Mina was counting, I was just waiting and waiting to get her picture and he notice my dilemma and called to her so she would come over quicker. Only to be told, never mind, once I got the shot. I am a MEAN photographer. =) I still like this picture a bunch.
She made some of the cutest "faces". I don't think they were intentional, but when she said please and smiled? It was like...so innocent, or something. I can't find the words. I spent a couple more pictures trying to get that look, but didn't really succeed. This one is good though.
I have this problem, people look directly at my camera. It might be the flashing that's keep popping on, but dammit. I can only get one picture of the "subject" unaware, and since I'm in a hurry, before they realize I have a camera, I don't get a good one. I'm not exactly sneaky. Which is sad. Then I have to take another, and by then, they KNOW where I am, and look straight at me. Even young children. I can't fool anyone. =S
This was just sweet. That whole mother and daughter "thing". =) Whatever you want to call it. Aren't they just CUTE?
This was before I used any red-eye correction, if you click on it, it'll get bigger and you can tell better. In this one, they look like zombies who deserve to be eaten by those TEETH. Cruz helped me get this one.

Anyhow. All in all, a good time was had. I am home sick today, cause I still pretty much feel like crap, though my nose isn't running all the time, but it's still sore and flaky.
And my throat hurts a bit, still.
But I have my new skirt, and the Daddie's show on Saturday! And Derek's slumber party on Friday. I'm hoping people call soon and let me know. Josh is here, that much I know. I need to verify with Tara, but she says they aren't really speaking with each other much. Other than needed conversation, like what time she's picking the kids up.
