Things I've learned from facebook.

That people don't always want to be your friend.

That the guy you thought you LOVED in high school has a hell of a lot more going on than you ever imagined and that you share a love of horror movies. Here I thought that he was just fucking hot.

It's not just a college site.

Many, many more people are on FB than MySpace.

You have a lot more work colleagues that you have to be "normal" for.

Your mom may be a better mom than on MySpace. That remains to be seen entirely. More conversation in two days than in two years though.

Since more people are on FB, that's more people to offend with random shit you say.

FB is far more addictive, since it seems to be a cross between twitter and MySpace.

I'm outta control.

Mine isn't on FB but i have discovered how much a drama whore she is since myspace.

It's weird, cause my mom's always been a drama queen, and yet..I dunno. I see her reaching out a bit more to my younger sister, and I know it makes Aspen feel good. So, I'm glad about that bit. It's weird to suddenly have so much interaction with her. I have yet to see if it's a good thing or not.

I might have to stop the anonymous comments. Apparently the only people who leave them are going to form snap judgements of me based on how I look, and since I can't go and read their blog or anything, it really doesn't seem far, since I can't even try to read their stuff and see if they are reasonable people. Today is the day, we break free.

Today I am 26 and 50 weeks and one day old. Which means in two weeks it will be my birthday. That's really what I was getting at, LOL. You know how people on TV are always having their birthdays forgotten? Not me, I inform people on an almost daily basis that it will be my birthday soon. There is no way they could forget. I look at birthdays like a special time for me. And I am all about me. Obviously. I hope the weather is like today on my birthday. I like rain in spurts. I like how fresh everything smells and I really hate it when it's too hot. I'm not sure how I was a summer baby, what with this hatred of heat. I work early that morning to get out of here early. Maybe go home and put some make up on and be lazy about getting ready. In any case, I will make it a good day.
